I have had many blessings in my life - a great family, fantastic friends and my best teachers - my horses. And while I support many different organizations for different reasons, there are two that are especially close to my heart. Casey's Safe Haven and Hands & Hooves. I believe that the most impact we can have is when we pay it forward.
Casey's is a very small holistic animal rescue organization in Elburn IL. They take in cases most other rescues can't due to age or health issues. They have a very dedicated team of volunteers who care for these animals every day.
Hands and Hooves not only rescues animals, but also provides therapeutic riding to children and adults. I have seen first hand the impact their incredible services and contributions make to the lives of others.
